Last class we went to HOLLYWOOD! I wish! But we
created a movie which was satisfying enough. I’ll share with you in this post
how exactly I created a movie. Prior to the lesson, our lecturer sent us a link
to download windows
movie maker or filmora. Both of these software are video editors with a lot of features. You can
add videos or existing music from your computer or you can create your own
using the software. You can add titles, motion elements, filters to bring your
masterpiece to life! IT IS AMAZING!
I was
unsuccessful in getting the downloads at home and as I am without a laptop my
lecturer lent me hers so that I could work on my movie in class. You rock Mrs.Roberts!
I was somewhat
familiar with filmora but I didn’t realize that there were so many options to
explore using the software. I didn’t know that you could add titles to your
projects before this class.
I also
experienced difficulties in putting everything together. Making sure that
everything was in synchronization to promote a smooth transition was a bit of a
challenge. The biggest nightmare was to try and convert the wlmp version that I saved by accident to mp4. I'm charging you to be mindful when exporting your videos. Always double check and enjoy that you choose mp4 format before saving. I ended up having to do over a movie because of that ,ghso let this be a vicarious experience. I also had horrors in removing that huge ,annoying watermark from Filmora but bloggers YOUTUBE IS YOUR FRIEND! I watch a video there, received a code from the said video to register and voila it disappeared like magic!
I would love
to learn to make even more complex and professional videos. What I learned was the basics.
I recommend
that you explore either of the two video/ movie editors to facilitate you with
integrating technology into your classroom
